"Here is a picture of the "finished" quilt that I made from your Cosmos dust pattern. The problems that I had in the beginning were related to figuring out what you meant when you said that "not all sewing lines were straight".
Lots of people tried to help me figure it out but gave up. I finally made a block my hand and the curved seams became clear. My niece chose the background fabric and about 10 of the fabrics so I would know what she had in mind for her baby's quilt. She gave birth to a baby girl and named her Stella. I titled the label (put on the back) "Sweet dreams under the stars."
I have received many compliments on it and will probably make another one. Thanks for sending the updated pattern with the border blocks.
